The 4DDOME® is a novel design semi-resorbable plug and patch preperitoneal repair of inguinal and femoral hernias. The structurally strong, dome-shaped plug is made of 90% resorbable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and 10% non-resorbable polypropylene. The onlay patch is constructed with the same materials in a 75%/25% ratio.

Material

  • The 4DDOME® is constructed of 10% non resorbable light polypropylene and 90% resorbable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA).
  • The onlay patch is knitted with 25% non resorbable light polypropylene and 75% resorbable PLLA.

Indications

The 4DDOME® is indicated for abdominal reinforcement including inguinal and femoral hernias.
